KHL could be future problem for Rangers.

The KHL wants to keep their stars, and want to get back NHL Russian stars. They've already snatched Radulov from the Predators. They made huge offers to super star Evgeni Malkin. They have their eyes on Nikolai Zherdev, who becomes a restricted free agent after the 2008-09 season, which could end up hurting the Rangers. In the 2007 draft the Rangers drafted 17th overall in the first round. They were thrilled to get Alexei Cherepanov at 17,as they thought that he would have gone earlier.Rangers are starting to learn why he fell back so much. Before last season he made it clear that he wanted to play for the Rangers, but his actions show otherwise. Russia has been setting their eyes on him too. It would be a real shame if the Rangers lost him the russian league KHL.
